Up to 2 litres of oil are used to manufacture a typical new laser toner cartridge No oil is used in the remanufacturing process
Most new cartridges are made in China and transported around the world using more oil in the process Buying locally remanufactured cartridges reduces transportation costs and creates local employment
A high proportion of laser cartridges are used only once and end up in landfill sites where they take hundreds of year to break down Remanufactured cartridges reuse many of the original components. Those that are removed are recycled for reuse elsewhere.

Laser-Ex has a waste carriers licence issued by the Environment Agency which ensures that we treat your empty cartridges in an environmentally friendly manner.
